A. KOMPETENSI INTI :

• KI 3 : Memahami, menerapkan, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasitentang pengetahuan faktual, konseptual, operasional dasar, dan metakognitif sesuai dengan bidang dan lingkup kajian/kerja bahasa Inggris pada tingkat teknis, spesifik, detil, dan kompleks, berkenaan dengan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, seni, budaya, dan humaniora dalam konteks pengembangan potensi diri sebagai bagian dari keluarga, sekolah, dunia kerja, warga masyarakat nasional, regional, dan internasional.

C. TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN

• Siswa mampu menyeleksi bentuk-bentuk teks pemberitahuan yang diperoleh. 
• Mengidentifikasi struktur teks pemberitahuan (announcement). 
• Siswa mampu mengidentifikasi struktur teks pemberitahuan (announcement) sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya 
• Membuat contoh teks pemberitahuan. 
• Menampilkan bentu-bentuk teks yang sudah dibuat. 

D. MATERI PEMBELAJARAN

Teks lisan dan tertulis berbentuk announcement
Fungsi Sosial : Menjalin kedekatan emosional antar kerabat, rekan kerja, staf kantor, pengusaha dan pelanggan dsb. dengan cara menulis pemberitahuan tentang peristiwa penting, seperti kelahiran, perkawinan, wisuda, pindah ke gedung baru, dsb.

Struktur Teks
a. Maksud dan tujuan announcement (pemberitahuan).
Mis : memberitahukan peristiwa penting, suatu acara, perubahan rencana, dst

b. Informasi umum dari announcement ( pemberitahuan )
Mis : untuk siapa ? siapa yang mengumumkan ? apa tujuannya ? dimana diumumkan ?

c. Menyebutkan informasi rinci dari announcement (pemberitahuan).
Mis : apa acaranya ? dimana lokasinya? dst
